These photos were taken as part of a workshop led by the renowned photographer Gary Hart. The variety of landscape (from desert to rainforest) and ecological systems in Hawaii was an absolute spectacle to behold. Hilo, where we were based, is the wettest location in the US, with over 125" of rain per year.
